Long before Crystal Palace move here South Norwood had another top team. South Norwood FC were one of ony12 clubs in the whole country to play in the second ever FA Cup competition in 1872. Two South Norwood players played in the first ever international match between England and Scotland at the kennington Oval in the same year. The team entered the FA Cup til 1878 when they vanish from view. Does anyone know where they played their matches or what happene to them?
