People for Portland Road is pleased to have started a
programme installing commemorative plaques to celebrate
important local landmarks, events and people.
The first plaque will be erected on the Jolly Sailor pub,
which is the earliest public building working by 1810.
The plaque wi ll be unveiled on Saturday the 12th May
at 3pm by local comedian Kevin Day- please come
along to support this initiative.
