Next year’s PICKLESFEST has received a great boost today with news that former editor of Total Football magazine RICHARD JONES will be one of the guest speakers. Richard is one of the world’s grestest experts on the theft of the world cup trophy in 1966 having been the first to draw attention to the coded messages placed in the Evening Standard by blackmailer Edward Bletchley for the FA chairman Joe Mears. A tangled tale of death, blackmail and intrigue which has yet to be solved.
