Yes, As a Stanley Technical ‘Old Boy’ (very, now), as a ‘Metalhead’, I well remember the occasional ‘fracas’ with our rivals, the School of Building Boys, the ‘Brickbashers, in the 50’s. Happy Days. Have you seen the Autumn edition of the’ Wetherspoon’s News’ for information on the lovely city of Sarf Norwood?, featuring the William Stanley Pub. What a great man, (Labor Omnia Vincit), and now, famous enough to have a pub named after him! Keep up the good work, and what about the Atmosheric Railway that was build in S.N? Why no mention?
