People for Portland Road have sent this invitation to all those who may be interested in being part of the festival this year, so we have posted it to aid in it’s continued success. SNTB will be hosting a couple of events under the banner of SNAF and keep an eye out for Pickles the dog!
South Norwood Arts Festival (SNAF) is a regular, usually annual, event co-ordinated by volunteers from community group People for Portland Road. We aim to celebrate the positive aspects of our local area with a wide range of events. Previously SNAF events have included clog dancing, poetry readings, displays, workshops and demonstrations, comedy, music, history talks and much more.
This year, the Festival is planned to run from June until mid July 2013, with a festival finale fair on Sunday 14th July.
We would like to invite any interested participants or local venues to let us know if they would like to take part in a (or run their own) SNAF event. If you can offer your services for free as part of this community based initiative we would love to hear from you. Businesses and local groups are also invited to inquire about running a stall at the finale fair.
