It is true, the Lake District or ‘The Lakes’ only actually has one lake, FACT. Whilst Cumbria belittle us by saying we have three puddles, they don’t even know how many lakes they have, and have generally misled the public.
We have three lakes in South Norwood whilst only a measly one in Cumbria. No wonder they are so snooty with us.
