South Norwood Tourist Board

At the bottom of LOVE LANE you will find THE BUNNY HOLE but you will  not find THE BUNNY HOLE on any maps though it is well known to generations of South Norwood folk. It is perhaps a lesson for our zealous council safety supremo that places have  much loved unofficial names that bypass official nomenclature. The BUNY HOLE is not in the OS MAPS but anyone in the area will know it. You enter from the Croydon  side and come out in….well its a bit disconcerting….are you in Penge, Beckenham or the Borough of Bromley? Going down the Bunny Hole is sort of an Alice in Wonderland feeling – you’re not sure you’ll ever get back – and the map won’t help.
