Glastonbury may have the pyramid stage but we have the twin Palace towers that rivals any of the modern wonders in the world.
It is rumoured that many of Glastonbury’s acts would rather play at Crystal Palace due to its proximity to South Norwood but we couldn’t cope with the amount of reporters that the BBC wanted to send.
Welcome to the 8th Crystal Palace Overground Festival
26-29 June
We’re taking this year’s event to the next level with four days of festivities and 172 performers and artistes taking part.
And we’ve got a bumper four days lined up for you including a table tennis competition, markets, spoken word, art trails, light shows, DJs, BBQs, barn dances, cider festival, comedy, sports, music, film, vintage and plenty more.
Festival highlights include a much bigger Vintage Up the Palace event in Crystal Palace park garden, music hubs at Antenna Studios and Crystal Palace railway station, food and drink stalls and tastings, outdoor film screenings, special guest performance from last year’s festival headliners Metamono and some great local bands and special guest performers on the outdoor music stage in Westow Park.
