Yesterday SNTB, Crystal Palace Transition Town (CPTT) and all the wonderful volunteers took the bold step toward revisionist history. The first Oak was planted at the Sensible Garden yesterday, in attempt to begin the re-emergence of the Great North Wood. In hundreds of years the history books will have to be rewritten to comment on the First Great North Wood and the Second Great North Wood. After all the Great War wasn’t know as the First World War until 1939!

From and acorn grows a mighty oak, and several mighty oaks create a Great North Wood.
