Responding to public demand, our Tuesday 8 July screening for SOUTH NORWOOD ARTS FESTIVAL is another chance to see our hit launch film BASICALLY, JOHNNY MOPED. It’s a superb documentary about Croydon’s “great lost legend” of punk, and his band – which featured both Captain Sensible and Chrissie Hynde in early line-ups. It’s funny and poignant, and full of local characters, places and memorable music from the band’s classic Chiswick album. If you missed it at the David Lean, you have another chance. If you didn’t miss it, you probably want to see it again! There will be a Q&A after the film and ‘Basically’ director Fred Burns will be participating. The venue will be the Harris Academy South Norwood (where Captain Sensible’s former school Stanley Tech was) and tickets are £5 in advance (£6 on the night).
