Thank you to everyone who contributed to making PicklesFest such a great success. Thank you to everyone who dodged the showers to participated in the treasure hunt and everyone who helped to organise it, particularly Janet and Stuart, Lou and all at the Friends Of South Norwood Country Park.

Thank you to everyone who came to the PicklesFest celebration at South Norwood & Woodside Social Club. Despite us being a man down everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Thanks in particular to all the members and staff at the club who helped to make it such a good day, particularly Steve for organising a lovely buffet, Dean for helping to set up the stage and Mark for his sterling work shifting the raffle tickets. We raised £125 for South Norwood Animal Rescue & Liberty (SNARL).

Thanks also to Mike Pink and everyone at Crystal Palace. We are delighted that it went to a young Palace fan who will treasure it for a lifetime. Let’s hope he has won a shirt signed by the FA Cup winners of 2016!

Finally thanks to everyone who has purchased the Pickles Wonderdog song by Richie Lamy & The Jools Rimet Orchestra. It is still available for download via all the usual outlets, with proceeds going to Battersea Dogs & Cats home.

It all goes to show the sense of community that is alive and well in South Norwood. We love you all.
