Finally the photos came back from being cleaned and certified as genuine antique photos. It is alleged that Conan Doyle kept these photos secret as he didn’t believe the world was ready to believe. When the Cottingley story broke (see Cottingley Fairies), Conan Doyle believed it was true as he had witnesses the same thing in South Norwood, however he never wanted to become a laughing stock in the area he loved.

We do not know if they are still in the area but believe the photos were originally taken in one of the parks. SNTB are to investigate to see if they can still be spotted.
Remember just because you don’t believe doesn’t mean it isn’t true.
